Gregory Brooks and AMC Source, an association management company, took on management of the South East Florida Apartment Association (SEFAA) in 2014. In the past two years, SEFAA’s membership doubled and the organization is now the second largest apartment association affiliate in Florida, for the first time ever!
SEFAA is a local affiliate organization representing apartment owners and managers in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. SEFAA is an affiliate of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and Florida Apartment Association (FAA). Currently, Florida has 11 affiliate organizations with the three largest in Orlando, Tampa and South Florida. As of December 2016, SEFAA represents 140,000 units with 575 community members – earning it the number two spot in Florida’s market. SEFAA was recently recognized by NAA for having the largest growth nationally in the second half of 2016. In addition to apartment community growth, SEFAA’s supplier network grew by 30%. Sponsorship revenue increased by 50%.
