We are thrilled to celebrate Debra Nolan’s Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management, earned with honors from the University of Maryland, Class of 2025. Her academic journey directly enhances AMC Source’s capacity to deliver strategic, evidence-based service to our clients. With consistent straight A’s and membership in the university’s honor society, Debra’s academic excellence underscores her deep commitment to personal and professional growth.
Her accomplishment is not only a personal milestone but also a reflection of AMC Source’s values: service excellence, lifelong learning, and a client-first mindset.
“I pursued a master’s degree to deepen my knowledge and strengthen my ability to drive strategic results in the association management space,” Debra shared. “AMC Source’s mission to deliver high-quality, customized services closely aligns with my personal values of continuous learning, integrity, and service excellence.”

Throughout her graduate education, Debra gained advanced expertise in areas such as strategic planning, nonprofit governance, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement—skills that translate directly into value for AMC Source’s clients. “I now bring a broader toolkit to every engagement,” she said. “I can offer more informed recommendations and deliver solutions that are not only effective but also sustainable.”
That impact is already being felt. In one recent client engagement, Debra used the Balanced Scorecard framework, a concept explored in her coursework, to help a client struggling with stagnant membership. “By aligning strategic goals with measurable outcomes, we re-energized the board and implemented new membership strategies. Engagement increased within six months, laying a strong foundation for future growth.”
Her graduate experience also strengthened her approach to adaptive leadership—an essential skill in today’s rapidly changing nonprofit landscape. “I learned how to lead through complexity while keeping teams motivated and mission-focused. I now bring that same collaborative and innovative spirit to our clients and our internal team at AMC Source.”
Debra’s success reflects the culture of growth and support that defines AMC Source. “This organization genuinely supports professional development,” she said. “That support empowers our team to innovate, take initiative, and continuously evolve so we can meet our clients’ evolving needs.”
We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating Debra’s achievement as she is recognized during her commencement ceremony at the University of Maryland. Her academic and professional journey is an inspiration to all of us—proof that with dedication and purpose, excellence is always within reach.
Congratulations, Debbie!
