Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Association Management

Greg, a seasoned professional with years of experience in the association industry, enrolled in the QAS program to gain a more comprehensive understanding of association management. “While I have many years of experience with associations, it was a great opportunity to put all of the pieces together,” he shared.

Throughout the program, Greg developed a greater appreciation for the hard work and dedication of association executives, staff, and volunteers. “We all know this without the QAS course, but getting into the details of their responsibilities and everything they need to consider daily paints a detailed picture of their dedication and passion,” he explained.

One of the biggest takeaways for Greg was the importance of collaboration in association management. “My work can often be siloed. The QAS program is an excellent reminder of just how important it is to work as a team to accomplish goals,” he said.

For Greg, achieving the QAS is not just a milestone—it’s a reinforcement of his commitment to excellence. “It’s always a good feeling to gain more knowledge in an area particularly important to your profession. In the case of the QAS program, it further reinforces the dedication in my work for our clients,” he said.
