AMC Source Attends AMCI’s "AMCs Engaged!"

This June 5th through June 7th, AMC Source Co-Presidents Debra S. Nolan, CAE, IOM and Gregory Brooks attended AMC Institute’s “AMCs Engaged!” at the beautiful Omni Oklahoma City Hotel. The meeting, with a focus of “The New Normal. What now?”, provided thought-provoking education designed by Association Management Companies for Association Management Companies. The practical discussion surrounding workforce, technology, and client management provided AMC professionals with training and strategies valuable in both the corporate AMC environment and in work with clients. The program consisted of engaging keynote speakers, highly interactive breakouts, a Hackathon, and HIIT sessions.

“During this year’s 'AMCs Engaged!', we had an opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the country and globe and return to the office with valuable ideas we will implement immediately to improve our AMC operations and association client performance,” said Brooks. In addition to supporting AMC professionals in their important work, AMC Institute meetings like this reinforce the value of the AMC model, which is a growing trend. An increasing number of stand-alone associations are moving to the AMC model because AMC's have the expertise and adaptability to get the job done, while at the same time, reducing operational and overhead costs and increasing the association's bottom line.

AMC Source's ongoing relationship with the AMC Institute further enriches events like this.
