AMC Source Co-President Selected for AMCI Accreditation and Standards Committee

The AMC Source team is proud to congratulate Co-President and Executive Director Gregory Brooks on his recent selection to the AMC Institute's 2022 Accreditation and Standards Committee.

The Accreditation and Standards Committee is charged with encouraging, supporting, and equipping AMCs to attain accreditation by AMC Institute (AMCI), and promoting best practices in accreditation. This one-year appointment runs through 2022.

This appointment follows AMC Source's achievement of AMCI accreditation earlier this year. Among 500-plus Association Management Companies (AMC) worldwide, only 81 have achieved AMC Institute Accreditation, demonstrating the commitment and the ability to deliver the highest level of professional management services to association and not-for-profit clients. These AMCs are the recognized choice of association and not-for-profit organizations.

Brooks has a robust history of leadership in the association community, with board experience that includes 2013-2014 Secretary of the Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE) and Marketing Chair of the FSAE 2015 Annual Conference Marketing Committee. Brooks was also recently appointed to the ASAE AMC Advisory Council for the 2021-2022 year. We are delighted that our team invests in the association community through ongoing professional development and partnerships with professional organizations like the AMC Institute.

Founded in 1963, the AMC Institute (AMCI) is a non-profit trade organization focused on advancing professionalism and high industry standards for association management companies. (AMCs). AMCI provides expert support and resources to drive new business to members, champions accreditation to promote industry best practices, and creates educational and networking opportunities for AMCs to engage and learn from each other.
