AMC Source Co-President, Gregory Brooks, Participates in Conversation on Non-Profit Staffing Options

Updated: May 21, 2021

The new year has only just started and the AMC Source team is already leaning into important conversations regarding matters that affect associations, foundations, and societies. This month, AMC Source Co-President Gregory Brooks participated in Episode 8 of The 501(c)ast by Nonpofit Resources, discussing the most common nonprofit staffing models, and the pros and cons of each. In this episode, titled "Captive or Contract? The Pros and Cons of Staffing Options," Brooks is joined by a collection of experts in nonprofit management, including AMC owners, association staff, volunteers, and other leaders, each contributing their expertise on this important element of nonprofit success.

Brooks, the first to speak, shares about recent trends in association staffing, especially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He goes on to discuss the services AMC Source has been able to provide to organizations that have had to cut back on their own staff during the pandemic; such services include the online conference/event support, which has been high demand given AMC Source's existing expertise on the subject. He also references an AMC Institute article that AMC Source co-authored on a similar topic; the article can be found at this link.
